Don Butterworth has served in the B.L. Fisher Library of Asbury Theological Seminary from the time he completed his M.A. in library science, in 1981, to the present. He currently serves as the Collection Management Librarian, overseeing the areas of acquisitions, cataloging, materials processing, serials management, First Fruits Press, Archives and digitization. He also serves on the Collection Development Team and specializes in the collection of monographs.

Mr. Butterworth is a member of the American Theological Library Association and the Association of Christian Librarians, where he currently serves as the team leader of CILA (Commission for International Library Advancement).
