Teresa Kutcher is the Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director of Library Instructional Services of the B.L. Fisher Library. Part of her work includes coordinating all documents and communications for the Institutional Review Board (IRB) as well as assisting the Library and Writing Center through administrative organization.
She comes from a diverse educational and experiential background including opening a business, commercial embroidering, and customer service in the retail and banking industries as well as teaching, tutoring and intervention at the elementary level, managing a business and small library, working with special needs students, and more than 20 years as a certified lay speaker in the United Methodist church.
Teresa completed her MDiv and is taking Family and Marriage Counseling courses for her ministry at the Kentucky United Methodist Home as Chaplain. There she works primarily with the teens that are in the residential program, but also with the Methodist Home staff .
She hopes to meet her goal of getting her doctorate so that she can teach in the future, but is enjoying being an empty-nester and a grandmother to three (3) beautiful granddaughters.
