As much as I enjoy holding a book in my hand, some eBook features are too useful to ignore.

Three of my favorite features are:

  1. Clicking on entries in the hyperlinked table of contents to "jump" to different sections of the book.
  2. Using the "Search within" feature to find a particular phrase or quote within a book.
  3. Taking electronic notes on a book that I can access from anywhere I have internet access.

I can even save pages as a PDF so that I can read it later!
