Writing Center Creativity Station

Did you know research has shown that engaging in creative play can make you a stronger student? Taking a break from studying and giving your brain and hands the chance to do something creative can stimulate other areas of your brain!

In the Writing Center, we offer a creativity station with LEGOs, Play-Doh, coloring supplies, and other “crafty” items to help students relax and recharge.

Drop in some time and spend a few minutes in our creativity area. No appointment is needed for the creativity center, but materials are available on a first come, first served basis.

While you’re there, be sure to talk to one of our consultants about other ways the Writing Center can help you on your academic journey!
