Faculty professional development money may be used to purchase instructional equipment with approval from the Provost’s office and LITS. Here are some recommendations.
Video and audio:
Laptop using onboard mic and webcam
This level of equipment will require changing microphone and or video inputs within Zoom or other software.
Better sound quality and sound isolation through a Microphone, headset, or speakerphone.
Better video quality with a secondary webcam
Connecting to your computer like an additional webcam, these document cameras can be shared through Zoom’s “Advanced” screen sharing menu.
