Citing Statistics

  1. Cite the gatherer as the source. If you got your statistics from the ARDA, be sure to give them credit.
  2. When citing a published study or an analysis, cite both the researcher and the original study.
  3. If you are citing your own work, cite the data set.

Good Data Practices

When working with statistics, it is important to remember the following:
  1. Always publish the sample size - always.
  2. Note significance tests that need to be performed.
  3. Correlation does NOT equal Causation.
