Course Map Content

– state the SLOs as they align with the degree program goals (primary
and secondary)
– Are they explicit on the syllabus?
Methods of assessment
– Name the method of assessment that is assigned for each SLO (e.g.
final paper, team project, oral presentation, portfolio)
– One method of assessment may share several SLOs
– Build a rubric to assess the level of learning achieved by each student
on each SLO
– Describe the levels of evaluation (exemplary, accomplished,
developing, beginning)
– State whether or not the rubric is explicit on the syllabus
– How will students receive feedback on their performance?
